KAGOME DESIGN (Woven-bamboo pattern)
This Japanese pattern is derived from the meshes of woven bamboo baskets.
It is also called "Kagome" because it looks like a series of six-pointed stars.
It has been used in Japan since ancient times as a pattern to ward off evil, which demons hate.

ASANOHA DESIGN (Hemp leaves)
A geometric pattern consisting of a series of vertical, horizontal, and diagonal lines based on a regular hexagon. It is said that hemp is strong and grows straight and fast, and that it has the power to repel evil spirits.

SEIGAIHA DESIGN (blue ocean waves)
Seigaiha (blue ocean waves) depicts a pattern of gentle waves spreading endlessly across the ocean. It is a pattern of good omens and a pattern of good luck, with the wish that a peaceful life will continue forever.

編んだ竹籠の網目から生じた和柄。
六芒星が連続しているようにも見える事から
鬼が嫌う魔除けの文様として、日本でも古来から用いられています。

麻の葉
正六角形を基調に縦、横、斜めの直線で構成された幾何学的な連続模様。麻は丈夫で真っ直ぐ早く成長することと、邪気をはらう力があると言われ、魔除けとしての意味があります。

青海波
青海波（せいがいは）は、大海原で無限に広がる穏やかな波模様を描いています。平安な暮らしが未来永劫続くように、という願いが込められている吉兆文様、縁起柄です。
