SHIBORIZOME　-絞り染め-

Shiborizome(Tie-dyeing) is a technique in which a tie-dye pattern is created by sewing or tying the fabric with thread.

Since dye does not adhere to the areas sewn or tied with thread, this dye residue produces unique patterns and textures.

This fabric is dyed with multiple vertical shibori to create a unique stripe shibori pattern.

絞り染めとは、生地を糸で縫ったり結んだりすることで、
絞り染めの模様を作り出す技法です。

糸で縫ったり結んだりした部分には染料が付着しないため、
この染料の残りが独特の模様や風合いを生み出します。

この生地は縦に何本も絞りを入れて染めることで、
独特の縞絞りの柄を作り出しています。
